Enfield Climate Action Forum

Enfield Climate Action Forum (EnCAF) exists to help our community grow more resilient in the face of a changing climate — better prepared for the impacts already underway, and actively shaping a future worth living in. We hold that resilience is built two ways at once: by reducing the harm we cause (mitigation) and by adapting how we live so that people and place can thrive through change.

We do this by bringing people together. Each month we convene an open forum, and between those there are working groups that form organically around the themes residents care about most, from local green spaces and flood preparedness to food, energy, and healthier neighbourhoods.

These groups are led by the people closest to each issue, so the agenda stays rooted in Enfield rather than handed down to it. What holds it together is collaboration.

EnCAF is a network of residents, co-creators, and local groups who believe that the best answers come from the community itself and that acting together, we can make Enfield a healthier, happier, and more connected place to live.
