Eco Community UK CIC

Eco Communities UK CIC (Sustainable Cheshire) is a volunteer-led community interest company based in Chester. Our mission is to help people across Cheshire waste less and live more sustainably by making reuse, refill and repair easy, affordable and local. We were founded in 2018, growing out of the Plastic Free Chester campaign, and have since become a hub for circular economy action across Cheshire West.
At the heart of our work is the Full Circle Refill Hub network, which gives residents plastic-free access to refillable laundry, cleaning, hair and body products. Alongside this, we run repair and textile projects such as sewing machine loans, repair kits and guides, and visible-mending workshops, all designed to keep items in use for longer and build practical skills.
