Climate Action Shipbourne and Plaxtol (CASP)

CASP operates in the Kent parishes of Shipbourne and Plaxtol and surrounding area. Our objective is to support the communities in their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.

The main activities of CASP are to:
• Raise awareness of the impact of climate change within local communities.
• Provide residents, farms, local companies and local organisations with information that will help them to reduce their carbon footprint.
• Organise community events, campaigns and educational activities.
• Collaborate with other groups and organisations with similar aims.
• Advocate for support for action on climate change from local authorities and other bodies.

We engage with the local communities through membership, parish newsletters, leaflets, our website and Shipbourne Farmers' Market.
